Be sure to join us for our next event on 9/8 at 6:30 in downtown Akron! We’ll be interviewing a local founder on their process behind building a successful founding team.

The Startup Operations Community held its latest meeting on 8/10 at OSC Tech Lab in downtown Akron. The topic for this meeting was ideation. We dove into the various processes, tools, and research methods used in brainstorming and ideation for a startup.

Ken Burns from Tiny Circuits went through how to define innovation and ideation, looked into different types of brainstorming, reviewed some best practices and approaches, and answered a few attendee questions relating to how to come up with an idea for a startup or a new product. Check out the video recap below for an interesting look into how a startup thinks up new products.
